Chia seed overnight oats fruit cup

About the Recipe:

Just a quick delicious omega 3 and fibre packed breakfast on the go.

Ingredients:

100ml rolled oats

225ml kefir

1 tbsp nut butter (any kind)

2 ½ tbsp chia seeds

12 macadamia nuts (nut of choice)

1/3 tsp vanilla paste

1 tbsp runny honey

½ tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp maple syrup or date nectar

1 tiny pinch of sea salt/Himalayan salt

100 ml finely chopped fruit of choice

*sprinkle with sesame and sunflower seeds to finish if desired

 

Method:

Roughly ground nuts in a mortar and pestle. In a medium sized bowl, add the remaining ingredients. Mix well to combine, leaving no lumps. Place in small bite size ready to eat containers (should make about two or three small servings).

Refrigerate overnight.
